I have a driver's license, but I usually don't drive because I prefer to walk and I share the family car with my older brother's family. Around town, I just walk, or if I need to go to a different city, I take taxis or trains.
I usually wear just jeans and a sweatshirt or shorts and a t-shirt if it is hot. If it is cold, I like to wear my jellaba, which is a traditional garment like a blanket made into a sweatshirt.
In my free time, I like to hike in the mounains outside of my town, play cards with my cousins and tend to my farm. My family douar has some fields near it where I grow olives and beans.
My first language is Tamazight, and I also speak classical Arabic, Moroccan Arabic and English. To say hello in Tamazight, we say "Manishm."
No, I don't have any pets. The closest thing I have is a donkey who works in the fields with me.
I have traveled all over Morocco, to the beaches and desert and mountains, but I have never traveled outside of the country.
I am a mountain tour guide, translator and tutor for foreign languages.
You are welcome in Morocco!
