Agandi! Hi!
I'm Emmanuel Dwomoh, a Ghanaian-American from Bronx, New York. Ever since high school I have been fascinated by the many parts and functions of the human body, as well as how the environment impacts our health. I became a biology major at The City College of New York, and earlier this year I graduated with my undergraduate degree.
In college, I met and interacted with many people from different African countries. This helped me become more aware of the cultural and environmental diversity in Africa. I have since been eager to explore more African cultures and also to investigate the risks the environment plays on different health outcomes in Africa.
Now I am in Mbarara, Uganda, researching the environmental risk factors of cancer of the esophagus. I am so excited to share my experiences abroad with you, and I look forward to exploring this beautiful culture together.
Ogumeho! Stay well!
