From Here to There: Getting Around in Finland

Busses come every ten to twenty minutes, and many popular bus stops have electronic signs that tell you how long until the next bus comes.

To be honest, taking the train is my favorite way to travel long distances, even if it takes longer than flying. I love the idea of going to sleep in one place, and waking up somewhere totally new! I also love how nice the little compartments are, and how the designers have managed to fit so much into a small space. And, believe it or not, I slept very well!

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Cold weather in the winter affects just about every way of traveling. If you are going by car, it gets so cold that people have to plug their cars into special stands to keep the engine warm enough to start. When taking the bus, biking, or walking, it is very important to pay attention to the weather. It is only October, but I am already bringing my mittens with me every day! I wear rain boots if it is raining to keep my feet from getting wet, and in the winter I will wear snow boots almost every day.
