Sightseeing in Warsaw on Buses

If the weather is nice, many people use bicycles to get around the city.  They have lanes just for bicycles to keep everyone safe.

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

The buses and trams are a bit hard to learn how to use at first.  There are lists of times when different buses arrive at each stop. This can be a lot to look at.  Many of the stops are listed in Polish, which is harder for me to understand.

Once I get on the bus or tram, I worry that I am not going in the correct direction.  It can be hard to make sure to board the proper bus or tram and that it is moving in the direction you want to go!  I have taken the wrong bus once or twice already!  I keep taking the busses and trams, and I hope to be less scared in the next week.

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Yes!  Many people in large cities in Poland do not have cars.  Without cars, it is important to have a good bus system in the city so that people can get to work and school.  Most of the people in Warsaw only uses buses and trams to get around the city.  Even young students (like your age!) can take the buses by themselves!  Can you imagine taking these buses on your own without your parents?
