We are waiting for reports of a good weather window. If all goes as planned, Lhakpa and I will leave for the summit tonight at 8PM, with hopes of arriving at the of the world by sunrise. The summit of Everest is at 29,035 feet, or 8,850 meters (some say it is a slightly different height).
