It's always summer here! Singapore's close proximity to the equator ensures that the only seasons are rainy season and not-as-rainy season.
Something interesting that I never expected to see in such a metropolitan place is wild chickens! They love to run around the streets and everyone respects their space. In more rural areas, you can expect to see monitor lizards, which are huge and quite scary looking at first, but are very chill as long as you give them room.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was Singapore’s incredible plant life. The warm, humid climate makes everything colorful and alive, and in some open-air spaces, you can even find greenery growing indoors. It is part of what makes Singapore so special to me.
