I cannot believe that we have reached the end of our journey together! It is crazy to think that I have already been living in Poland for the past two months. I have learned so much about the country, the culture, the residents, travel, and about myself.
There are so many things that I have grown to love about Poland during this time. Whether it be the incredible hot chocolate, the efficient public transportation, daily trips to the grocery store, or the excitement about having a conversation with a local resident in Polish, I feel more connected to this country than I ever thought I would. There have been many frustrations along the way, but now I finally feel like I am part of the community in Warsaw. I know that the connections and friendships that I have made during my time here will last for many years and I am excited to see how much these friendships continue to grow over the next seven months while I remain in Poland.
While I have learned to appreciate Polish culture, I have also learned a lot about myself. On the trips that I have made alone, I have increased my confidence in my ability to navigate and go sightseeing in a completely foreign city.
