Dear all,

I am overjoyed that I was able to share my journey in South Korea with you. I want to take this time to reflect on some of the memories I made in Korea. During my first couple of weeks in Korea, I spent the majority of my time with my study abroad group. Once the semester began, however, I started seeing them less and less. I often had to grab lunch alone, prompting me to make friends with the restaurant owners, who were much older than I and who usually didn't speak English. However, that only pushed me to put more effort into learning Korean so I could speak with them. Whenever I learned a new phrase, I was happy to use it at a restaurant. The ladies often corrected me if I was wrong. From time to time, I still think about their kindness and hope to visit them again soon.

At the moment, I'm getting my Master's degree in Media. I plan to visit Korea with my friends when I graduate next year. If the opportunity presents itself, I would also like to work there for some time. I plan to travel to many places once it is safe to do so. I would like to continue to visit places in Asia as well as in Africa. My next top destination is Paris, France because I've always wanted to see the Eiffel tower. I hope my journey in South Korea has inspired you to travel and study abroad if you have the chance, too!
