Journal Entry: I can't believe that this is my final journal to you all! Throughout the past ten weeks, I've shared my snorkeling experience, my Belizean family, my first quinceanera, my Y.E.S. Project work as a Peace Corps Volunteer, my apartment and how kids live in Belize. It was fun to relive all my memories. Sharing with all of you gave me a much deeper appreciation for everything I experience here. I wanted to share some other experiences that have been memorable for me in Belize:
- Heading down South to Sleeping Giant and hiking over hammock bridges in the mountains. The views of the mountains are beautiful filled with cold creeks.
- In the Cayo district there are beautiful waterfalls. When my friend and parents came to visit, we went hiking to a beautiful waterfall called Big Rock Falls.
- Playing trivia with my host mom and host sister at a local coffee shop.
