This flower needs to have very deep roots, with only small off-shoots. As a result, it can take a burning bush a whole three years before it is finally strong enough to flower.
The burning bush has oils that can catch fire in the heat! That is where its name comes from. Thankfully, it doesn't get hot enough in Germany for it to burst into flames—as long it doesn't get too close to a match stick.
