Interview with Sera Emmers

Introduction:

Even though A.U.P. is a school for students across the world to learn in France, some students are French locals who chose to study there because they speak English. One such student is Sera Emmers, who has lived in France for many years with her family.

What is your full name?:

My full name is Sera Emmers, but everyone just calls me Sera.

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

My family's house is in a region of France called Brittany, which is very far North, and about 250 miles west of Paris. Our location is in a tight-knit community called Sougeal, and my house is much bigger than the houses in busy areas like Paris.

What is your family like?:

I live with my mom, dad and younger brother. We're all originally from Vietnam but have lived in France for many years. My younger brother doesn't remember Vietnam as well as I do, but we'll definitely be visiting soon.

How do you get around?:

In Paris, I always take an Uber or taxi to get around. I don't have my driver's license or a car, so I've gotten used to this. When I can't afford that, though, I take the metro.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

I love shopping at Galeries Lafayette or Zara--so many of my clothes are from those places.
