This doesn't leave much time to read the books that I brought over from America, like The Poppy War or Pride & Prejudice, but next week I will try and read my "for fun" books more.
I don't play sports even back home, and it's much harder in Paris to get a sports game going because there aren't many empty public spaces. The games I've played have mostly been with my friends here, with board games like Monopoly or even some video games. Before the bad weather came this week, I played cards in the park sometimes, but that wouldn't be very fun now because of the cold and rain.
My apartment building hosted a Halloween party earlier this week for all of the residents, with games and a costume contest. The party was this week rather than on Halloween next week because many people are going out of town for Halloween, so we celebrated early!
