Life of a Second Grader in Italy!

Introduction:

I interviewed a 2nd grader just like you, but from here in Italy! Her name is Lucrezia, and she is 11 years old.

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

For breakfast, she drinks orange juice or fruit juice and eats biscuits and bread with marmalade. For lunch, during school days, she eats at the cafeteria at school and normally has pasta, vegetables and fruit. For dinner, she eats protein like chicken or fish along with peas, legumes or beans, and then finishes with fruit.

What is your house like?:

Lucrezia lives in an apartment in the center of the city. She likes it because it has a wooden floor, and she likes to walk around barefoot.

What chores do you have at home?:

She does not have to do chores, although sometimes she clears the table after dinner.

What jobs do your parents have?:

Her dad is a graphic designer in advertising, and her mother is a scientific researcher (whom I work with).

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

School starts at 8:00 am, and she gets back at 3:30 pm. After lunch, they play for 1 hour each day. Also, they eat lunch at 2:00 pm!
