Hola, mi nombre es Grace!! (Hello, my name is Grace!) I am 23 years old and the place I get to call home is Los Angeles, California. Growing up in California, I loved heading to the beach, trying the diverse types of food, and serving the amazing community. I left California and headed to Boston, Massachusetts to study Neuroscience and Medical Humanities at Boston College.
During my summer before senior year, I decided to study abroad in South Africa where I took a class focused on comparing the healthcare systems in South Africa and the US. This class sparked my passionate interest in global health and I realized how much I love living in another culture, exploring a new environment, and most of all, serving others! Currently, I am living in Peru, where I'm serving as a Community Health Volunteer for the Peace Corps. I am excited to share my adventures with you all and cannot wait to hear about your journeys through the school year!
