The weather this week was actually okay. It rained twice, which helped it from not getting too hot here. It can get as high as 90 degrees Fahrenheit since it is currently summer here, so it was nice to have a semi-cooler week due to the rain.
The coolest thing was seeing the cat while I was having dinner with a friend at the Serowe Hotel. She just wandered into the restaurant and chilled underneath a table. She was very cute as well!
Stray animals are very common here in Botswana. People own them as pets, but they allow them to roam free instead of keeping them inside their houses. As a result, there are a lot of stray animals on the streets. I have been advised to not pet stray animals, especially stray dogs, as they will bite you.
