What's Chillin' in the Canopy?

One interesting fact is although they cannot move very fast on land, sloths are quite the swimmers, especially those living in mangrove habitats!

What can harm this creature or plant? Are we worried about it?:

The main predators of the Brown-throated Three-toed sloth are humans, jaguars and harpy eagles. These creatures spend most of their time well camouflaged in the trees, so they are not threatened by much. This species is classified by the IUNC Red List (data showing extinct and endangered species) as "Least Concern," as this species is abundant throughout these rainforest ecosystems. This, however, does not mean easy to spot; it really takes a good eye to see a sloth perched in a tree!
