A Paradise in Latin America

When the eruption occurred, these people had to move their town, and the areas around them had to live a different life knowing that Arenal was able to erupt again at any moment.

One cultural adaptation that I have noticed during my time in Costa Rica is umbrellas. All Ticos carry sombrillas (umbrellas) everywhere they go, and I soon caught on. The Ticos never use raincoats because it is often too hot to wear them and also too humid for the jacket to dry before they wear it again. Because of this, sombrillas are the go-to for protecting one's self from the elements!
