Ma'a Salama!

The uncertainty in my mind is also an opportunity for something great to show up.

I hope that following my journey over the past few months has helped you learn a bit about the Middle East, Jordan and what my experience is like going from living in Minnesota to Amman (do you remember where Amman is located on the map)? I also hope that you've been inspired to learn about a different place in the world, possibly a new language, and perhaps have a new desire to study or even live abroad. If you were going to learn a new language, which language would you learn? If you were to travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? For me, I never would have guessed that I would study Arabic or end up living in Jordan, but I am so happy I did!

Here's the final Arabic phrase I will leave you with: ma'a salama. In Jordan we use this phrase to say goodbye, but as a direct English translation it means "with peace". I wish the best for each of you and hope you continue learning about the world in school and your everyday life.

Ma'a salama!
