Marhaba (Hello), my name is Hannah! I am 24 years old and am originally from Minnesota, where I love to spend time with my family and friends on the lake, practice yoga, read and try new foods. Growing up, my family and I traveled by car around the United States, which cultivated my sense of exploration and adventure. It was through these trips that I started wondering about what it would be like to travel outside of the United States. During college, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Amman, where I fell in love with the country, the people, the language and the culture. After returning to Minnesota, I dreamed of returning to Amman to live and work one day.
My first job out of college was in supply chain transportation at Land O’Lakes, Inc. After a few years of experience at a large company, I decided to apply to the MENAR (Middle East and North Africa Region) Program. I was offered a position to work as a Product Manager at Bayt.com (a leading job website in the Middle East) in Amman, Jordan. I moved to Amman in May and am grateful for the opportunity to return to Jordan and combine my passions for business and the Middle East. So far, I am enjoying my new job, making new friends, reconnecting with old friends, and am happy to be studying Arabic again. I look forward to learning more about you and sharing my journey!
