A Day in the Life of Martín

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

My native language is Spanish, but I also speak English and some French. In Spanish, we say "Hola."

Do you have pets?:

Yes! We have two (new!) dogs, Tapón and Cooper, a cat named Luna, and a tortoise.

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

Yes, I love to travel. I have already been to various countries including Morrocco, France, Italy, Germany, Romania, Tunisia and Poland. Also, because of my connection with Hannah and her family, I have spent two summers in the U.S. I've also traveled a lot around Spain. Some of my favorite places that I've been to are Lanzarote, Cádiz and Bilbao (which I went to with Hannah just a few weeks ago.

What do you do for work?:

I'm mainly a student at the University of Seville, where I am studying for a dual degree in electrical and mechanical engineering. At the same time, I run a business called High Impact Leaders which is based on my experiences with the Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute in the U.S. I also occasionally work odd jobs, usually as a waiter or steward (like a flight attendant, but for tourist boats and buses).

Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?:

To your students in the U.S. - those that can visit Spain definitely should. You should all also learn about Spanish history, as it is very interesting.
