This week, I read a lot of travel information before I went to Amsterdam. It's important to always do your research about where you're going beforehand so that you know what you want to do, how to do it safely and also how to get there. Plus, having things planned ahead of time also relieves stress when you're on the trip!
While we were at the Guy Fawkes festival, we played festival games and took part in magicians' games who were at the festival. Some people were able to outsmart the magicians but most of us had no clue how to beat them in the games!
In other news this week, we learned about Guy Fawkes for Guy Fawkes Day. Guy Fawkes was a British citizen who tried to blow up Parliament by using underground tunnels. Even though he failed, his attempt, which is called the "Gunpowder Plot," is remembered every year on the fifth of November.
