It is refreshing, but BRRRRRR, it was so cold. The sauna is nice, but jumping into The North Sea is too much for me.
Taking pictures for you and sharing my adventure has helped me to remember it and document it in such a special way, and I am so grateful to have had you as my travel buddies!
Even if you don't love whales as much as I do, I hope you enjoyed seeing what it's like to study them. They are such special animals, and they have so many special things that make them challenging to understand. The pictures I shared with you are special, too, because not everybody gets to see whales in that way. Science can be so fun when you study something as cool as marine biology! If you love animals, maybe you can think about being a wildlife biologist like me when you grow up. As the climate changes, they need as many scientists as they can to advocate for them and make sure they are protected.
More than anything, I hope that someday you want to visit Denmark or Scandinavia. You know so much more about it than most Americans, and I'm sure that anybody here would be so excited to meet you! You already know some Danish words that you can practice (hej is "hello" and tak is "thank you"). If you do come, I recommend coming in the summer so you can enjoy the same beaches that the Vikings did. If you come to Aarhus, you can even visit the Deer Park, or take the bus to go visit Freya the Porpoise. I know she would be so excited to meet you!
So folks, thank you for joining me and learning about Denmark! Thank you to Miss Jaffe for choosing me to share with you. Now it's time to say hej-hej (bye-bye).
