How Kids Live in Belize

Introduction:

When I first asked one of my students, A.O., if she would want to be part of an interview, she immediately said yes and asked if she could bring her friend, O. They were so excited to share. A group of boys I also teach were sitting nearby. Once I had finished interviewing the girls, the boys asked if they could be interviewed, too. I thought this would be a great way to show you all how both girls and boys live similar and different lives.

The girls are A.O., who is 11 years old, and O, who is also 11. For the boys we have P, who is 12, A.N. who is 11, I, who is 12 and K, who is 11. Some of the questions are separated by the boys' and girls' answers but some answers are similar, so it is just a list.
