Introduction: Today, I interviewed 19-year-old Lebogang Bojosi, a student in one of the classes I teach.
What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:
- Breakfast: bread, eggs, porridge
- Lunch: French fries
- Dinner: spaghetti and meatballs
What is your house like?: Lebogang's home is clean and organized. She has her own bedroom.
What chores do you have at home?: Lebogang mops, does laundry, sweeps the yard and removes weeds at home.
What jobs do your parents have?: Lebogang's mom is a teacher at a primary school, or what we would consider an elementary school, and her father is a pastor.
What time does school start, and what time do you go home?: School starts at half past 6:00 a.m. (6:30 a.m.) and ends at 20 past four (4:20 p.m.).
How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?: Lebogang is allowed to get to school on her own. She walks to school every day.
Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?: Lebogang eats lunch at the school's dining hall. She typically eats chicken and rice with beetroot and coleslaw.
