Picture this: I'm standing in a German airport, holding on to two suitcases, a heavy backpack, a dog crate and the leash of a very curious Corgi puppy named Diesel. It was stressful and unforgettable, but in many ways, the moment shows my life's journey! Travel has always been at the center of my story, making me who I am today.
I was born in Germany as the first born of my family. Because my mom and dad were both in the Army, moving and traveling was a part of my normal life. My mom is still currently in the Army! After my brother was born, we moved from Germany to the United States, where we lived in Massachusetts for a little time. After about five years together in Arizona, my dad moved to Pennsylvaniya and my mom moved to Maryland. Pennsylvania is where I spent the rest of my childhood. During that time, I five more siblings were born! That means I am the oldest of seven.
Growing up, I played a lot of sports. Before high school, I did basketball, swim, track and field, and softball. In high school, I started golf and ended up playing all four years. I loved it! High school was also acquired the skill of skiing! Where I live, there is a good ski resort that a lot of people go to which is where I discovered my skill. Unfortunately, in the middle of high school I broke my kneecap.
