Hello! Or as they say here in Paraguay, hola! My name is Isabelle (you can call me Isa) and I am 23 years old. I am originally from Old Lyme, Connecticut and studied at Stanford University in California for the past few years. In school, I studied economics and public policy, with a specific interest in international development. After graduating this June, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to move to Paraguay for my Fulbright Student Research Fellowship. It has been an incredible experience!
Here in Paraguay, I am working with the government's Innovation Unit to help the country with its National Innovation Strategy. At the same time, I am also studying the innovation and entrepreneurship (meaning new companies and startups!) ecosystem to learn more about country development. This has been a fun hands-on experience, and I have had the chance to practice my Spanish skills.
I am really excited to get to know you and share my journey in South America! I can not wait to talk to you all soon.
