Friends in an international city: getting to know Sabrina!

Introduction:

This week, I interviewed my friend Sabrina about her everyday life here in Geneva! Sabrina and I met through welcoming activities that our university held at the beginning of the semester. Throughout the past six months, we have gotten to know each other very well. We love to go exploring around town and trying new things together! Read on to learn more about Sabrina.

What is your full name?:

My full name is Sabrina Aijili.

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

Back home in France, my family has a nice house in the suburbs of Paris with a big patio for summer parties! Here in Geneva, I live in a university apartment building called Epinettes. I have my own room in an apartment that I share with three other people. We are all students, so it is nice to share a space with someone similiar to me. The apartment is a bit small, but I like it!

What is your family like?:

My family is super-traditional; we gather at least once a week! I have three sisters and one little brother who all live in Paris. I also have three young nieces. I miss them, but I get to see them on the weekends; Paris is only about three hours from Geneva by train.

How do you get around?:

I usually walk to get to the university.
