I was really lucky that the weather was gorgeous this week! The only day that was cold and cloudy was the day that I went to the Dead Sea. Not a lot of people swam because it was chilly, but floating in the Dead Sea has been on my bucket list ever since I can remember so I toughened up and went in anyway!
There aren't really any animals in the city, but during my hike in Ein Gedi, I saw some Rock Hyrax which are very cute, tiny animals that looked similar to badgers. They were all sunbathing on the rocks.
The coolest thing that I saw in nature this week was the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea is the saltiest body of water in the world so nothing actually lives in it. The salt content causes you to float very easily, so I had a really fun time floating over waves on my back, front and side. I was even able to sit on top of the water with my legs crossed!
