Today, I interviewed my Australian friend Noyo. He is a student at the University of Melbourne and lives in a dorm, just like me! In this conversation, we will discuss his life in Australia and what it's like growing up here.
My name is Noyo Akra. I am 18 and am a first-year at the University of Melbourne!
I live in Terrigal, a New South Wales, Australia town. My house is quite spacious and peaceful. It is near the beach but not too far from busy places, which is good because this means I will experience both the quiet and exciting parts of the town.
My family places a strong emphasis on God and, as such, values the idea of working hard and being kind. My Dad is an emergency specialist doctor, and my mother manages the practice in which he operates. My three siblings are all younger than me but are excelling in their respective fields that they have a natural tendency towards, something that my parents often instilled in me from a young age.
