In that sense, I view being good at my work as a way of showing gratitude for the privilege of using these animals in the first place.
I believe the most ethical means of animal use lies in being cognizant of the inherent worth of all lives and the ways in which science can give meaning to life through its investigation. Using animals is currently a part of that investigation, and so showing respect and maintaining the animals dignity is of utmost importance to upholding a satisfactory level of work ethics.
During our video call this week, please feel free to ask me more questions about animal use in science. If I know the answer, I will be happy to help; if I do not, I will make sure to procure a resource from a reputable source that will hopefully suffice your curiosity. I am excited to speak with you all this Friday. See you soon!
