Last weekend I went out with some of my friends to a public dance performance in my Puerto del Rosario’s fairgrounds. We watched young people from all the islands having so much fun on a huge public stage!
I've mostly been reading the news from the United States right now. Part of my job is teaching students about the U.S., so I have to stay up-to-date on current events back home even while I'm getting to know the culture and politics here.
I actually don't really like games or sports very much! I think they're too stressful. But I did play School Supplies Bingo with some of my students. Like always, I also went running.
I've really been enjoying the Spanish siesta (nap) time that happens in the early afternoon. Most people don't have air conditioning here, so resting during the hottest part of the day is normal and healthy.
