The weather started out quite dreary this week. The temperatures were often below freezing at night and rainy. However, the clouds lifted towards the end of the week, and I was able to enjoy the sunshine and some warmth with my new friends!
Madrid is a city with many pets, most of them are dogs. Just this week alone, I've seen countless dogs walking alongside their owners. Unfortunately, I was unable to identify the particular breeds. I believe they are mostly of mixed breed. There are also some cats roaming around as well. Of course, just as with other cities, there are always lots of pigeons and other birds flying through.
The Parque del Retiro is a huge park located in the city, that has some beautiful plants and a lovely pond in the middle. One of the best parts of the park is that one has the option to row in a small boat around the pond. The water is well kept and has a beautiful blue shade.
