There is no written bus schedule here in Barranquilla for most of the buses and there are no timetables. If you want to get somewhere, you need to ask someone who already knows how to get there and they will direct you to the correct bus! This ties into the culture of interconnectedness here, because things are less organized and planned out. Instead, they are more relational. The culture here doesn't have as many things planned and written down as we do in the U.S. The culture places more value on people interacting, talking and learning with each other!
