What was the best meal this week?:

On Wednesday night, we had a bonfire and our homestay family grilled and fried pork. It was served with sticky rice, which is very common in Thailand, dragon fruit and a few other dishes. My favorite was the fried pork. It truly tasted like American BBQ. After dinner, we made s'mores for our host family and they really enjoyed them. They told us that ฉันชอบ, which sounds like "chan shaab" means "I like" in Thai.

What music did I listen to this week?:

It's not uncommon for there to be live music somewhere every weekend in Thailand. I went out a few nights ago and got to hear a live local band. Afterwards, we went somewhere else where they only played American music. Some of the songs were songs that I didn't even know and it really surprised me.
