I have officially been in Belize for 11 months! Although I still have 16 months to go, time has been flying by and I feel like I've already done so much. I've enjoyed getting to share some of my journey with you all as it has allowed me to reflect and take more photos, too. I have always struggled with taking enough photos.
Through this time you have seen me travel all over Belize, including beach towns and national parks, cook and eat delicious local meals, such as tamales and stewed fish, and even gotten to experience a typical day in the life working at a primary school in Southern Belize. I hope following along these experiences have inspired you all to explore new cultures and new parts of the world. When I was your age, I never would have thought that someday I would live in a new country, learn a new language and experience countless new cultures. However, I also never had a teacher as awesome as Ms. Laning who made it a goal to expose me to these experiences in such a cool way.
I loved all the questions you asked, and I will try to answer the rest of them here. I know you always ask about my cat. I saw her the other day! She is healthy and still visits, but just from a distance.
