In school, we study language arts, science, math, health education, physical education and Belizean studies. In the younger grades, Spansih language is also taught. Justin, Britney, Geraldine, and Santiago all have the same favorite subject, which is math!
Homework is usually nothing too crazy! Often, it is a worksheet where we have to answer questions and problem solve. Recently, we had a presentation where we had to draw a map of Belize, and another one where we had to draw the brain. Presentations and posters are common.
After school, Justin and Santiago go straight home to do their homework and any chores they may have. After they finish chores and homework, they go outside to play either soccer or volleyball, which are their favorite sports. Santiago is on the school soccer team, and both boys played on the school volleyball team. When it gets dark, after dinner and before bed, they spend time playing Roblox, which is their favorite game.
For Geraldine, right after school she changes out of her school uniform and goes to play football (soccer) at the field with the older boys. After playing football, she relaxes with Instagram or Tik Tok and an hour of Roblox. Britney follows a similar schedule, changing out of her uniform and going to play with her friend and their brother or going to her auntie's house. Both Britney and Geraldine love football, and are both on the school football team.
