¡Hola! Hello! My name is Jonathan Alvarado-Gomez and I was born and raised in northern California. I am from Santa Rosa, which is surrounded by breathtaking vineyards, tall hills for hiking, and is about one hour away from the ocean! Once I finished high school, I ended up at Macalester College in Minnesota. I love all the snow that falls during the winter in Minnesota--it never snows in California.
I studied abroad in Singapore. Do you know where that is? I was an exchange student at Nanyang Technological University, or NTU for short. You may not know exactly where Singapore is right now, or even what makes it special, but you and I will explore all those things together during this virtual exchange journey. Hopefully one day you'll have a chance to travel the world, too!
