This week, I traveled to La Paz and back. It was about 84 kilometers (52 miles) each way, and I took a bus in both directions. The bus ride was not too long, about an hour and a half, including some stops.
I was able to travel to La Paz in one day and came back to Todos Santos the next day!
This week, I used a bus to go to La Paz. I also traveled around Todos Santos a bit in some of my friends’ cars. However, I mostly walked everywhere I needed to go, both in Todos Santos and in La Paz.
La Paz was an amazing city with delicious food, very kind people and beautiful views. I would love to return in the future, if possible.
One last fun fact: It is possible to drive from Todos Santos to Rockford, though it would take about 50 hours! You could either drive up the peninsula and then over to Rockford, or you could take a ferry boat across the gulf to the state of Sinaloa, then drive up to Illinois.
