I highly recommend a short three-part "Revisionists History" miniseries by Malcolm Gladwell. In these podcasts, Gladwell critically examines the idea of capitalization in America— the measure of how well this country is making use of its human potential.
The episodes are titled "Carlos Doesn't Remember", "Food Fight", and "My Little Hundred Million". I highly recommend checking them out as you will gain a much better perspective on what it means to have privilege and opportunity, and you'll learn about ideas such as weak-link/strong-link mentality.
I would say hiking Björnö naturreservat, baking the scalloped potato roll, and listening to the afore-mentioned podcasts were all tied in terms of how much I enjoyed those experiences!
I read a short article on Alfred Nobel in Swedish!
I played a bit of basketball with some local Swedes and some card games with my friends.
When the sun sets at four in the afternoon, you tend to get tired easily. So one day, I accidentally fell asleep at seven p.m. and woke up at seven a.m. Whoops!
