Tak for Snakken! - Goodbye to Denmark

Additionally, if you ever consider studying abroad (which you should!), there are resources like the Gilman International Scholarship that can reduce financial barriers. If I hadn’t received this scholarship in combination with embracing slow travel, I wouldn’t have been able to travel to and around Europe as much as I did. I was able to see so many beautiful places while taking courses that enriched me through a European perspective. For instance, I understood the context of certain pieces of art by putting together my personal knowledge of art history and what I learned in my European Art History class I took here. I also compared and contrasted the information of Danish society I learned in my Danish Language and Culture class with my volunteer work at a cafe that serves the homeless and socially vulnerable. From learning and experiencing, I’ve become a more global citizen. This was an unforgettable five month journey, and I’m so happy I could document my process for you to experience it with me. Vi ses (see you later)!
