After we petted them they then led us down the hill and right to the place we were trying to go. They hung out with us for the whole day.
I am always worried about the dogs getting hit by a car but they seem to be smart enough to use traffic signals. The dogs cross at crosswalks and wait until the light change, just like humans. I have even seen the dogs use public transit. We have had multiple dogs ride the metro with us. They calmly sit at the metro station with us and then casually walk onto the train and curled up under a seat like it is a completely normal thing.
