Interview with My Primas!

Introduction:

During class I interviewed all of my Prima students (ages ten to eleven) about their lives in Slovakia. I teach both sections of the Prima class every week. They are a special group because they are the youngest kids in the school. Most Gymnáziums (Slovak high schools) only cover education for four years, but these students attend for eight because they are some of the smartest kids their age!  I'll list the name of the student before the response.

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

Juraj: During the week, I skip breakfast because I don't have time before school. On the weekend, I have pancakes. I eat school lunch during the day. Every day is different. Today is sweet lunch, so we have poppy pastry. For dinner, I usually eat yogurt and meat such as chicken.

What is your house like?:

Karin: I live in an apartment. It is three room plus bathrooms and a kitchen. I share a room with my sister. School is about 30 minutes away from our home.

What chores do you have at home?:

Alex: I swap taking out the trash each week with my brother. I also have to clean up the table and wash dishes after eating.

What jobs do your parents have?:

Andrej: Both of my parents are doctors. My mom is a vein doctor (phlebologist) and my father is a general practitioner.
