The weather this week was much sunnier than usual. It felt like all of Dublin was out and about. The parks in the city were filled with people. It was a nice break from the preceding cold, rainy months. It finally feels like we are leaving winter behind. Daffodils and other little flowers are cropping up throughout the city as well!
I saw swans, seabirds, cows, sheep, and dogs. I saw lambs and calves as well - a true sign of spring! Living in Dublin, I often see swans, pigeons, seagulls, and various dogs. Swans are my favorite by far. Seeing them gives me motivation on my runs around the city. On the train out to Galway, I saw so many sheep. My friends, who were visiting from Rhode Island, were very pleased. We saw a few horses as well.
