I tend to fall asleep before I can read too much every night, but I really enjoy the author's perspective on how something that could be viewed as unimportant, like a recreational sport, can come to mean (almost) everything for a group of people.
I didn't play a game this week, but I did go for some runs at the beach. Running is such a good way to clear my head and release the stress that is exacerbated living in such a new place. I like running along the beach, but I sometimes get anxious trying to dodge all the people meandering on the sidewalk. The pace of life here is most definitely different than in the U.S.
I bought some postcards this week to send to family and friends back home, which I am excited to mail! I have had a hard time finding them for some reason. I like to send these when I travel to other places because they're something small and easy to ship but are still special to receive.
