Traveler Bio

Howdy! My name is Katlynn, but you guys can call me Kat. I grew up in Miami, Florida, and always had a passion for reading and writing. As I got older, those interests expanded to movies and TV shows. When I graduated high school, I received the Posse Scholarship and left for Hamilton College in upstate New York along with nine other students from Miami. At Hamilton, I got to explore my passions further through their theater, creative writing, and film programs. With the help of Posse and a few friends, I discovered the Gilman Scholarship program which made it possible for me to fly out of the country for the first time and study in Bath, England. It is an incredibly historic small city in southern England that offered me the opportunity to work at a movie studio this semester while taking reading and writing classes. So far, I have absolutely loved my time in England and I honestly can't wait to share all the adventures that await us!!
