We traveled eight miles on foot to get to a store that was kind of like Walmart. It was such a long journey--not a walk--but a journey through hills and everything. But I got a Marvel umbrella, so it was worth it!
So far, the eight miles was the farthest I traveled. I hope I never have to walk for so long again. Of course, before then, I traveled more than 6000 miles to get from the USA to Korea!
I walked everywhere, but I figured out that there is also a bus system that I will definitely be using (and often!) going forwards.
The most interesting place I visited was the convenience store on campus. They have flavors of snacks I never would have though of: vanilla ice-cream flavored popcorn, sweet garlic toast flavored chips, and even chips that just taste like corn. Korean snacks have a lot of sugar in them, so I have a hard time finding ones I like.
