A Day in the Life

What do you like to do in your free time?:

Right now, I spend a lot of my free time doing research because I am working towards a PhD in Economics. But besides that, I like to meet my friends for lunch or dinner, go to the cinema to see the latest movies, or go to the mountains to escape the city and enjoy nature.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Romanian and English. In Romanian, you say hello as "bună ziua" (pronounced boo-nah zee-wah) which means "good day." But, you can also just say "bună." If it is morning, you say "bună dimineata" (pronounced boo-nah dim-in-eeahtah) which means "good morning," and if it is nighttime, you say "bună seara (pronounced boo-nah see-ar-ah) which means "good evening."

Do you have pets?:

I do! I have a cat named Six. He was a stray cat when I found him and rescued him. I named him Six because when I first found him, I thought he was about six months old, and my friend told me it is good to name a pet something with the letter "X" in it.

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

I have traveled a lot around Europe. Some of the countries I have been to are Greece, Austria, France, Turkey, and Bulgaria. I have also traveled a lot to different cities within Romania.

What do you do for work?:

I work at Universitatea Stefan cel Mare, Suceava (USV) as an International Relations Officer. This is an administrative position, and I mostly deal with foreign partners that the university works with.
