Well, class, we have reached the end of our journey together! I hope you all have had fun and learned some things about the beautiful country of Romania and the people that live here!
On this journey, we have traveled far together--over 4,500 miles from the USA! Along the way, we got to see some lovely art and architecture. We have taken trains, planes and cars, and tried to avoid traffic jams. We shivered in the snow and bought hot drinks from the Christmas Markets. We opened our minds to cultures and perspectives outside of our own and learned a lot along the way. We got to try new foods, like mămăliga and kürtőskalács. We learned about painted eggs, holiday traditions, and how to greet someone in Romanian (do you remember how to say "good afternoon?") We've learned about the Danube Delta and the Black Sea, and explored how using their natural resources have both benefits and challenges. We even took a trip to visit Berlin, Germany, and Paris, France!
