I flew from Nha Trang to Hồ Chí Minh City (Saigon). Then, I took the bus to my rural community and rode my bike around town. I traveled about 560 kilometers, or 348 miles, this week.
I first traveled from Texas to Hà Nội. Then, I went to Hồ Chí Minh City, Đà Nẵng and Nha Trang. So far, I have traveled more than 10,000 miles.
I ride my bike and take the public bus. Most people ride motorbikes, but I do not have one. This week, I also flew on a plane.
The most interesting place was Nha Trang Beach. I saw signs in many languages because tourists visit from other countries. I ate bún cá, a fish noodle soup that tasted fresh and a little salty.
My friend, Gracie, hurt her ankle on the sidewalk. Some sidewalks slope downward so motorbikes can drive up, and it is easy to slip. I traveled back and forth to help her while she waits to heal.
