Hello, fellow travelers! My name is Keyli Peralta and I am 20 years old. I am currently a sophomore at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. New York University is located in downtown Manhattan, right in the center of the Greenwich Village neighborhood. I love going to school in New York City, but I love the things I get the opportunity to study even more. As a student at Gallatin, I'm able to create my own concentration that mixes different areas of studies.
Right now, I’m working on combining literature, media, and marketing in order to create a major that will help me to get into publishing. I would love to work for a publishing company because I absolutely love reading! Ever since I was little, I would get in trouble for staying up past by bedtime with my nose buried in a book. Since I love books, I could not think of a better place than the United Kingdom to study for a semester.
When I’m not studying, I am most likely listening to music, taking photos or watching movies. My favorite thing to listen to right now is the Hamilton soundtrack. Have you heard it? I’m obsessed with anything that has the power to tell a story, and Alexander Hamilton’s story is one that helps keep me motivated when I’m feeling overwhelmed.
